Clarity has developed integration between the new Police Federation mobile app and the Open Text Website Manager content management solution, which is used by the Federation to manage both their intranet content and web presence.
This integration module allows Federation staff to author content primarily for the website within the CMS environment, which is absorbed by the mobile application automatically and without imposing any additional editing tasks on content authors.
By leveraging standard syndication technologies, the CMS provides feeds that meet the requirements of the mobile app to enable presentation of content in a friendly and accessible way for consumption by mobile users.
