Clarity provided SharePoint consultancy services for the Trust, which were used to develop a document and records management solution within a SharePoint environment and facilitate knowledge transfer to both business users and technical support staff.
The initial solution provided a robust approach to records management based on a suite of retention and disposal workflows, which were developed within SharePoint and Visual Studio. A bespoke records management solution was also developed and deployed using SharePoint features and application pages following initial adoption in order to provide an appropriate level of information governance, in compliance with NHS records management standards.
While this highly successful assignment was delivered in a relatively small number of days, it had a significant impact on the Trust’s activities, in that it included the delivery of a complete corporate records management solution within SharePoint and provided sufficient knowledge transfer to allow Trust staff to take full ownership of the solution.
